I Saw A Double Rainbow !

It is Monday, December 21st in the week of Christmas !! It’s also the first day of winter, although this past weekend, it already was like Winter considering that huge snowstorm Blizzard of 2009 , in the Northern states !!!

This happened last Saturday late afternoon. It’s getting worse and I know it too, will pass. It stopped everything I “had” to do, though! I’m late with my Christmas cards, my  Christmas shopping and getting them all packed and mailed out .

It’s been very relaxing for me, anyway. Hope it has been for others, too. That’s what I love about weekends. No rushing around, and I can sleep as late as I want to….which is not *that* late, but late for me. ( 7:30a.m. is late for me, lol)

Today is a day to stop and be thankful for all the we have, even if in some  people’s lives it may not be much, they are all blessings, everyone no matter how small !

Today has been a really relaxing Saturday. I did’nt do anything outstanding. This morning I awoke at 5:00 and went back to sleep until 7:30a.m.

I took one of my medicines ( Actonel) and then hopped into the warm shower. It was 55* here in St Petersburg this morning! After my shower I washed and dryed [...]

Time has a way of well, getting away! Today I’m not doing much, as I go to the doctor’s office to get my weekly shot for rheumatoid arthritis. I wonder if this will ever cease and a new medicne that’s not poison will be introduced into the mainstream.

Oh I know there are some new “biologics” [...]

Things keep humming right along! :)  As of this past week, my cemetery plot is all paid for, plus the perpetual care. I’ll have the rest paid for by January. That’s the $412.00 for the opening and closing of the  plot….when that time comes.

I’m feeling much better about things and my life today. I awoke refreshed that I have the jerk out of my life. I smile because of what happened yesterday,  now that it is Today!

Smile  is what I try to do most all the time. Recently I have been going through  more than one struggle.

The appointment with my thyroid doctor last week was all good. The test range was “perfect.”

“Thank Goodness It’s Friday!” The weekend is finally here and I’m so glad I have my last appointment this morning for doctor. This one is for my thyroid, which is not there anymore because I survived ( thyroid ) cancer!

I just go for checkups and a new prescription twice a year with this particular doctor.

I am still very homesick for my small hometown up north in Michigan. I might be moving back home soon or in the Spring/Summer 2010. I hope it’s before the end of this November, though. These are just my thoughts.
